The visit on the bike was once again very pleasant. I find the ambience very pleasant and the staff was friendly and attentive. The waiting time for food and drink was reasonable. The selection of drinks is large and the dishes on the separate menu offer variety. I especially like the season-appropriate selection, as well as the variety within the individual main courses.

The food was okay. Portions were big. Our service was friendly and attentive. However, the impression that goes beyond pure consumption is not particularly good: The tables were sticky and otherwise the VELO did not make a particularly well-kept overall impression. We had reserved by phone for inside and should then sit outside. Only after some back and forth we were "allowed" to sit inside. This fact alone does not make a good impression. The reservation concept, as well as the cleanliness concept, should be worked on urgently.

Response to the business owner's request: In response to my "Hello" greeting, the waitress pointed out the limited afternoon menu in a rather annoyed tone. One could have said kindly. A tarte flambée for 8 € should be thicker than 2mm, and even then shouldn't be too long in the oven because the resulting splinters are unpleasant in the mouth. All in all, not that tingling, but the fact that the smokers from the two shifts then apparently sit down at the next table in the courtyard when the shift is handed over and speak louder to each other than all the guests together made the experience a rather uncomfortable one. You get a star for the homemade soda drinks, which were delicious, and one for the plastic-free straws they contain. I think the business model "vegan restaurant" deserves support, but unfortunately not like that.

I love this place! The dishes, whether before, main, or dessert are always a poem and there is definitely something for everyone! The waitresses have always been super nice with me and the drinking / eating is also quite fast.

Sooooooo delicious. The dishes are prepared with a lot of dedication. You can taste it and you can see it. Anyone who hasn't been here has missed something. Definitely try ... and I'm writing this here as a flexitarian.

Inexpensive - cozy - and incredibly tasty! And that's what I say as an omnivorous person. In the evening, however, you should call or reserve in advance, as they can be fully booked even during the week ;-) Very clear recommendation!

After a week with German family and being served mostly bread, meat, and cheese, this was an incredible experience of fresh veggies. We Californians loved it!

What a find and a huge asset to Heilbronn. Food is amazing. Fresh, yummy with a side of love. The staff is awesome. They are smiling even after carrying the 100th plate up the stairs. Location is great with outdoor seating.

There eat very tasty and fresh vegan. One can choose from three meals select this change every day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. An absolute dream was the rape-cake.

Wow. Great food. They had three tempting option as main course. Staff speaks great English and is very helpful. I loved my curried lentil brat. It's came with curried veggies and fruit, an amazing salad, hummus and crackers, and bread. Love the meal. Filling. Flavorful. Worth the 15€.

Amazing all vegan food. It's not cheap, but worth the experience. You should definitely get a reservation though.

The VELO is currently the only vegetarian restaurant in Heilbronn. Many of their dishes are vegan. It's 100% my favorite restaurant in Heilbronn. The staff is very friendly, the owner, Tanja, runs the place in a very professional, warm and welcoming way. The food is beautiful and tastes amazing. And then there are the guests - especially when you come alone you'll always end up some friends richer! Amazing people come here. Very lovely. If you want to come with friends, make sure to have a reservation in advance. They are so good it's basically always packed.
